We’ve been in a planning phase for the last few weeks, but what we’re planning is worth waiting for, so here’s a snapshot…
As some of us move into spring cleaning mode, organization is foremost in our minds, which is why Knit-A-Yarn has an organizational series in the works to help get that stash and those weapons of choice labeled, in order and ready for action.
Wren Ross – renowned Knitter, chanteuse and actor - has come on board, and you’ll be seeing her in our video podcasts along with Suzanne Ress. We’re thrilled to have her join the team, and look forward to her energy and entertainment. For those of you who don’t know Wren yet, learn more about her at http://www.wrenross.com.
Cat Bordhi took time to speak with us while she was at WEBS in Northampton, MA, and share her insights about the changes she’s made in the architecture of the hand-knit sock. That podcast will be available by the first week of June.
Pat Ashforth and Steve Plummer of Woolly Thoughts fame will be the subject of a video podcast this month discussing mathematical knitware and sharing other woolly thoughts. For an introduction to their work visit http://www.woollythoughts.com. To see their podcast, come back next month!
Melanie Gibbons of MS3 fame is being scheduled to record an audio podcast with us to talk about the complexities and challenges of setting up and running a knit-along as massive as MS3.
There are also a couple of knit-alongs in the works… but more on those later.
So come on back, y’all!
